There is a touching, profoundly naive belief that human tribes are arbitrary social constructs that can be rearranged, merged, or dissolved by bureaucratic decree. We love to imagine that we are all blank slates, ready to happily dissolve into a frictionless global village where borders are just lines on a map and cultural identity is a fashion choice. Then, reality pulls back the anthropological curtain to reveal a much funnier and darker truth: the modern panic over immigration isn't some sudden outbreak of modern bigotry; it is the natural, genetic hangover of a twenty-thousand-century migration experiment.

Consider the grand historical irony of our species. Anthropologically speaking, we all share a common address in Africa, where our earliest ancestors basked under the equatorial sun. But some twenty thousand generations ago, a restless, insubordinate fraction of those humans packed up and marched out. Facing brutal northern winters where ultraviolet rays dwindled, their skin shed its melanin to absorb scarce light, splitting humanity into the Caucasian and Asian branches.

More importantly, leaving the cradle required adapting to survival risks. Those who stayed behind largely continued the traditional hunt, while the wanderers had to invent animal husbandry, agriculture, trade, and eventually seafaring to conquer the hostile geography of Eurasia. Civilization, as it turns out, was born not from staying comfortably at home, but from the desperate, high-stakes gamble of departure.

Today, the progressive left shrieks that wanting borders or resisting uncontrolled immigration is "divisive." Yet, the supreme joke is that the very people demanding absolute "cultural diversity" and shouting about "cultural identity" are the ones who fractured the social cement in the first place. For centuries, humanity evolved distinct ethnicities, nations, and city-states shaped by climate, trade, and shared survival mechanisms. To pretend that twenty thousand years of evolutionary divergence can be erased overnight by a polite corporate seminar on inclusivity is peak self-deception.

Human history is fundamentally a grand museum of tribal friction. Our species is biologically wired to recognize the boundary of the camp; deep in our evolutionary instincts, when too many strangers cross the perimeter without a shared code of survival, the ancient alarm bells start ringing. We are creatures of profound self-deception, trying to legislate away our biological software with moral lectures.

The supreme irony of modern politics is that pretending everyone is identical only makes everyone desperately cling to their differences. Civilization isn't preserved by open borders and hollow platitudes; it survives because humanity eventually remembers the harsh geography that forged us. The next time you watch politicians argue over immigration, remember our ancestors leaving Africa: in the grand theater of human existence, boundaries aren't an invention of modern politicians—they are the oldest survival strategy on earth.

回顧人類的祖先，最初全部來自非洲大陸。大約二十萬年前，有一批不安分的靈長類決定背井離鄉，一路向北遠征到歐亞大陸。遠離了猛烈的陽光，為了適應寒冷的氣候，他們的黑色素漸漸退去，演化出了白種人與黃種人。留在非洲的族群繼續著傳統的獵捕，而那些出走的冒險者因為生存風險倍增，被逼著學會了畜牧、農耕、貿易與航海。說得不客氣一點，人類文明的雛形，本就是那群敢於離開舒適圈的叛逆者被大自然逼出來的產物。

今天的左翼政客總是痛批反移民的聲浪是「分化社會」。然而，最荒謬的諷刺正在於此：正是那些整天敲鑼打鼓強調「文化多元」、逼著少數族裔去尋找「獨特文化身份」的人，才真正開啟了社會的分裂。人類在漫長的演化過程中，因為地理氣候與生存方式的分道揚鑣，衍生出了不同的種族與民族。從希臘羅馬的城邦到近代兩百年才成型的國族國家，邊界與認同從來不是憑空掉下來的裝飾品。

人類歷史本質上就是一座「地理環境決定生存本能」的大型博物館。我們的基因裡殘存著對非我族類的原始戒備；深植在演化深處的邏輯告訴我們，當一個族群的生存空間與共享契約遭到未知外力的稀釋時，本能的排外防衛就會瞬間啟動。我們這群擅長自我安慰的動物，總愛用高大上的道德口號去對抗寫在DNA裡的生存密碼，一廂情願地以為只要多開幾場宣導包容的會議，幾萬年的演化就會自動失效。

我們這個時代最深刻的諷刺，莫過於口口聲聲要消滅藩籬的進步主義，最後反而把所有人逼得更緊地抱著自己的部落不放。文明往往不是靠著天真浪漫的口號在維持，而是由那些尊重現實、看清人性底色的清醒者所苦撐。下次當你又聽到政客在高談闊論文化融合時，想想二十萬年前踏出非洲的那群黑人祖先：在人類命運的大戲裡，邊界與差異從來不是政客發明的，它們是我們一路走到今天、血淋淋的生存記號。
